I originally studied a major in Spanish Literature at Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico city. I later on studied my Teacher´s Proficiency Course at Instituto Anglo Mexicano de Cultura A.C. in Mexico city where I also worked for 4 years.

When I came to Cancún I worked at Universidad La Salle for 7 years, 4 of which I was the University Coordinator of English. There, I planned and organized the English instruction, first in Tourism and then in the rest of the University.

I have been working at Universidad del Caribe as the head of the English Department since 2001. I took my COTE (Certificate for Overseas Teachers of English) in the years of 2003-2004 and I am curently studying a Masters in Education at IES.

My professional objectives: to do my best, as a teacher and as a coordinator and to continue learning.
